Stuart performs at, and is regularly invited as guest speaker to ‘Soundability’ soundbeam residential training courses.
Also training can be delivered by BEAMworks to organisations interested in using soundbeam equipment as part of a music or sensory program.
Topics covered can include:
- Basic assembly and operation of the equipment
- Understanding the controls – what you need to know to get started with your client group
- Setting realistic objectives and evaluating activities
- Using Soundbeam’s pre-programmed setups
- Designing and saving original work
- Advanced applications: MIDI controllers and pitch sequences
- Using the Switchbox and multiple beams
- Sampling and sound editing, mainly using Ableton Live
- Visual editing projection and VJ’ing using Arkaos software and others

How much will the workshop cost?
Our mission is to extent reach, not grow our savings, therefore our rates are reasonable and in line with other professional practioners.
Are Tutors fully qualified to carry out the work?
Yes all tutors have degrees, CRB disclosure and public liability insurance;
specific references can be obtained for each type of workshop on request, or
one is available as a PDF here.
