It responds to the user and their surroundings, ensuring that every experience is personal and unique. 1-1 lessons using the soundbeam equipment are available, or fully interactive sensory sessions may be deemed appropriate for those with more complex needs.

Mission statement
'To motivate and empower people to engage with the arts using creative ICT'.
The BEAMworks process involves the use of Music production software, VJ'ing software midi controllers including a piece of equipment called Soundbeam, which allows the user to trigger notes and melodies, samples or sounds by interrupting an invisible beam.
A Soundbeam is unique because it allows the user to explore and create video, still image and sound simultaneously through a simple movement.
BEAMworks is led by Stuart Freeland who has completed research into the use of music technology in community music and performance/composition. Since 2000 Stuart has designed, developed and delivered music and media workshops and one to one sessions for various organisations.
BEAMworks also invites guest collaborators to deliver activities when appropriate.
